Return of the Blog?

Well, I am not sure if this is going to be a passing fancy or something more. But like many people who have been using social media over the past decade, I have found it harder and harder to connect with the people I actually want to connect with and completely logged jammed with ads. I guess we had forgotten that the real purpose of those platforms was for someone to make money on our lives.

So, here I am! I am going to try and start posting here more regularly (and by that I mean maybe 1-2x month). If folks want to see what I am up to, I will try and post things here, but still maintain a presence on Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky and something called Vero. I feel like now I am spreading myself thinly over a lot of places in the hopes that something sticks somewhere. Oh well, I guess my life is like syrup at the moment.

For this years NCECA Conference in Salt Lake City, I am participating in Michael Foerster Toy Dispenser Gallery: Rainbow Road. All items in this “gallery” are free. I made 16 necklaces that are comprised of 2 halves. Each half has been placed in a separate plastic egg. They each have an image or a saying that connects to another half. My hope is that people find their “other half” at the conference.
